The multidisciplinary team from Aryuwat Medical Center provides physical therapy for elderly rehabilitation or for patients with coronary artery disease, cerebral infarction, or cerebral hemorrhage, to strengthen muscles and develop new daily living skills such as walking, sitting, grasping, under close supervision by doctors and physical therapists.
Physical therapy services include:
• Muscle strengthening, balance training with assistive devices, standing balance training, balance training with parallel bars, and walking practice.
• Electrical muscle stimulation to relieve pain, slow muscle atrophy, and improve muscle function.
• Cold / warm compresses to reduce tendon and muscle inflammation.
